What is Under-Floor-Heating?

Under-floor-heat, also known as hydronic radiant floor heat, is becoming the most popular and comfortable form of heating system available today.

A modern floor heating system heats a building by circulating warm water through polyethylene tubing buried in the concrete. The warm water heats the concrete, which then heats the room or building.

The Possibilities

There is virtually no limitation to the type of building that can be heated with RADIANT FLOOR HEAT. Homes, offices, warehouses, workshops, schools, homes and animal confinement buildings are all currently being heated with this energy efficient method. Individual room control is easily accomplished with the use of zone valves and thermostats. Any fuel capable of heating water to a temperature of 120 degrees can be used, including natural gas, LP, electricity, wood, coal, fuel oil, waste oil, solar, and even hot springs. RADIANT FLOOR HEAT can melt snow from walkways, driveways- even football fields.
